Assisting Burmese refugees in Delhi

TRAVEL across the world in your mind's eye (and with visual assistance) to meet, live and face-to-face, three Burmese refugee women living and working in Delhi.

Answering questions directly through a Skype interview, the women and project workers will tell their stories. Followed by an open discussion about the challenges of working sustainably with groups of refugees, creating independence rather than dependence.

The discussion takes place today, Saturday 10th August, at St John's Church (Venue 27) from 2pm to 5pm.

The speakers are Chris Barr (Burma Assist), Habib Malik (Islamic Relief Worldwide) and the chair is David Hope Jones (Scotland Malawi Partnership).
