Top-notch poetry: StAnza Showcase

STANZA, Scotland's International Poetry Festival and one of the leading poetry festivals in the UK, is bringing a selection of its finest poetry to St John's church.

Based in St Andrews, StAnza's annual spring festival aims to celebrate the diversity and value of poetry and to bring audiences the best poets.

This special showcase event brings together three acclaimed poets from recent festivals: John Siddique, from StAnza 2012, Anna Crowe, co-founder of StANZA and its Artistic Director for seven years, and Dawn Wood, lecturer at the University of Abertay and author of award-nominated collection Quarry (Templar Poetry, 2008).

StAnza's showcase promises to be a unique encounter with contemporary poetry at its best and most engaging.

Monday 20 August, 4pm-5:15pm, in the Church at St John's (Venue 127). Buy tickets here or at the venue box office.
