Scotland’s apartheid – overcoming the sectarian divide

CENTURIES of sectarianism have left a deep impact on perception of opposing community groups in Scotland.

But where are we now with the so-called green and orange divide? What is the relationship between perception and reality? How can work for an inclusive society that rejects hatred and bigotry be moved forward.

In this important conversation from midday to 1pm on Saturday 11th August at St John's Church. some key figures in this debate discuss the issues with the audience.

Roseanna Cunningham MSP engages Bishop David Chillingworth, Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, and Duncan Morrow, former CEO of Ulster Community Relations Council (CRC), to reflect on current approaches taken by politicians, churches and social initiatives to guide their communities to peaceful co-existence.

In partnership with the Community Safety Unit.
