THE Festival of Spirituality and Peace is reliant not just on a dedicated staff team and board, but upon around 50 volunteers of all nationalities and backgrounds.
They all have something unique to contribute to the Festival blend, and some of them are pretty ingenious!
Here’s a picture of Andrew and Kate enticing people to try out the sights, smells and taste sensations of the Persian Tent.
Andrew’s a bit of a seer. “Do you need some hummus in your life?” he asked one friendly passer-by.
Edinburgh’s streets are going to get busier and busier over the next few days, and the Persian Tent Village at St John’s will be the place where many people find an oasis in the midst of the rush.
The falafels are pretty good, too!
